On stock – microfibres
Natural leathers have long been a symbol of luxury in building and vehicle interiors, but they are not an ideal material for those who care about animal welfare. Fortunately, the development of technology and the search for more efficient solutions now allow for the creation of ever-new leather alternatives.
The SKD and H10/H11 collections are microfibres designed to imitate fine natural leather as closely as possible. Their appearance, perception to the touch and and surface pattern are so similar to natural leathers that they can easily deceive not only an amateur but also a professional. Microfibres are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, resulting in high strength and resistance to abrasion, moisture, UV rays and perspiration. They are also characterised by equal flexibility, which makes them much easier to work with and use. This material is available in rolls, not in sheets. With a width of 140 cm or more, the entire surface of the microfibre can be used without having to avoid natural defects and irregularities, as happens with natural leather.
The raw material composition is polyamide (nylon) and polyurethane, with polyester in the budget versions. Fabrics with a full-grain leather finish: nappa, structured leather, as well as suede and nubuck. Global manufacturers in furniture and car interior industries have been successfully replacing natural leather with microfibres for years. Choose fabrics from the SKD and H10/H11 collections and enjoy a range of benefits:
